Studying Abroad: Exploring Valencia

Lola Isbouts: "Living in the City Program - Studying in Valencia 🇪🇸

Almost two months have passed since I arrived in Valencia, thanks to the amazing opportunity I received through my studies in Urban Life & Placemaking (Breda University of AS) at Breda University of Applied Sciences to spend a semester in Spain with the unique “Living in the City” program.

During my time in Valencia, I am following an internship with Suzie Añon y Garcia - Valencia Expert, who 15 years ago founded the company Tours in Valencia. Her ambition is to create unique, personalized and authentic experiences that will leave a lasting memory. To help achieve this, I will be working closely with Suzie from a marketing perspective, alongside my classmate Chandreé Rasmijn. I am already grateful for the valuable work experience I am gaining and excited to continue this enjoyable collaboration. 

Next to that, I have the chance to learn about a new city and participate in projects where i can apply all the tools i've learned so far in my specialization of Urban Life and Placemaking."
