Students of the specialisation Sports & Esports from year 2 and 3 went to Berlin for a study trip. A full programme of visits, presentations, new insights, socializing and enjoying the city itself!

We started the first evening with getting to know each other as we were with different students from different years.
The next day we immediately dived into the history of Berlin with our visit at the Olympic Stadium. A whole different visit was right after that at LVL World of Gaming, where we got to learn about gaming, esports, entertainment and events. The day ended with a scavenger hunt through the touristic highlights of the city center.
FC Union Berlin welcomed us the next morning on their grounds. They impressed all of us with their amazing story about their fans and first female head coach! As the sun was shining it was the perfect moment for a cycling tour through alternative Berlin, where we all were surprised by the atmosphere of Tempelhof.
The last day with visits we fully focused on esports, where we were invited by Berlin International Gaming (BIG) to see their offices and bootcamp places and learned about their business and growth. We ended the day in style with an exclusive behind the scenes tour at the Riot Arena, where we later supported Eternal Fire with their fantastic win against Vitality.
