In mid-April 2025, Maple Farm Adventures, an outdoor adventure park, will open in Bosschenhoofd. Two alumni and a fourth-year student from Attractions & Theme Parks Management (ATPM) are closely involved in this new park.

Former student Nicolaas Scheepers, who runs a freelance consultancy called Forward Leisure, was asked by the owner to act as interim manager in collaboration with TDAC (Tourist Destination and Attractions Consultancy). Together, they have made the initial preparations to start this new leisure park. Recently, they hired former ATPM student Ruben de Vries. He previously worked at Beekse Bergen and is now being trained as park manager before the park opens in April.

Current fourth-year student Danike van der Steen is also actively involved. She is currently developing a marketing plan and recruiting new staff. “It’s quite a pressure cooker, as there’s a lot to be done before the opening,” says Danike. She will be working on her graduation project until the summer and mentions learning a lot during this period. “The great thing is that I can ask Nicolaas and Ruben for a lot of feedback, as they have done the same study,” Danike adds.

Excitement and Thrills for All Ages
The new park, Maple Farm Adventures, is designed for young children, who can explore a challenging and nature-rich playground, as well as for older adventurers who can tackle exciting climbing routes or soar through the air on a breathtaking zipline.
