Podcast: The Future of Leisure and Events

Students of Leisure & Events Management created their own podcast, called The Future of Leisure and Events. With this podcast, the students aim to satisfy their curiosity to learn even more about Leisure & Events, but also to reach an audience that is potentially interested to learn more about this industry. The students already created two episodes in which they interviewed international Leisure & Events professionals.

During their ‘Playground Sessions’, the students and their lecturer Matic Gajsek had several discussions about how to build a network and to gain field experiences. Then the idea of a podcast came up. A nice opportunity to explore the professional industry, learn more about new media and get in touch with professionals during the podcast interviews.

Lecturer Matic Gajsek: ’It is a very short and sweet format, where you can learn a lot about new organisations and leaders who are often breaking new ground in their respective fields. So, we can surely promise a lot of new insights in an interactive format.’
