In August 2025, Breda University of Applied Sciences hosted the World Leisure Congress. In the week before the congress, students from various countries and experience experts with disabilities explored Breda together in the World Leisure Field School.

The main question during the Field School was: 'How can we make leisure more accessible for people with disabilities?' 
They visited Pier 15, took a boat trip through the city's canals, visited the Grote Kerk and the city centre of Breda, among other places.
